Our background

We were established in 1991 by a group of nine, Leeds-based arts and cultural organisations to provide marketing and audience development support. We were then known as Leeds Arts Marketing.

In 1997 we became West Yorkshire Arts Marketing and expanded to support arts organisations across West Yorkshire.

We moved one step further in 2002 and became 'Audiences Yorkshire',  now looking after organisations within the whole of the Yorkshire and Humber region.

2003 saw us establish a trading subsidiary, AY Creative Services which specialised in print distribution. In December 2011 ownership of the trading subsidiary was transferred to Northern Ballet.

Now we are &Co The cultural marketing house.
