Head of Communications, York Theatre Royal
After completing a degree in Art and Design my first full time job was Marketing Officer at York Theatre Royal. A year later I became Marketing Manager and another year later, took over as Head of Communications. I recently completed an MA in Contemporary Arts Practice, alongside my job and used Audience Loyalty as a subject for my dissertation. I'm very passionate about the arts and have a life long love of theatre and performance. I spend much of my time outside of work watching theatre both locally and nationally and am a regular visitor to arts and cultural organisations. I'm also on the committee for an arts centre in North Yorkshire and having grown up in a rural village I enjoy the Yorkshire countryside and all it has to offer. In addition, I've been running a rural youth drama group on a weekly basis for two years and enjoy providing local communities with provision for the arts and contributing my own skills on a voluntary basis.
