We had a great turn out at our Annual Conference held on 10 March at Northern Ballet. There was a really great mix of people from a variety of roles and people came from far and wide. You can see the feedback here.

Our conference twitter hashtag was on fire on conference day and the messages seemed to reach far and wide, to people within the sector who weren’t involved with the conference, put picked up on the conversations being had through Twitter!
Number of venues involved in House Lights
13 venues have signed up to benchmark their audiences from March 2010 – April 2011 as part of &Co’s theatre benchmarking group ‘House Lights’. House Lights has been collating and analysing box office data from venues in the Yorkshire and Humber region since 2005. This year we welcome Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond, North Yorkshire to the group for the first time.
Number of arts and culture jobs listed by &Co in 2011
Members can list their news stories and job advertisements for free on our website. We have listed 20 different jobs within the arts and cultural sector already in the first quarter of this year. Keep an eye on the ‘sector jobs’ section of our site for new listings.
Number of people applying to take part in an &Co focus group
&Co Consult delivers qualitative research projects for clients in the arts and cultural sector. One recent recruitment drive with subscribers to digyorkshire.com received 306 applications, all of whom were screened for their suitability to take part in the study.
Public members who attended an &Co Consult focus group
In March 2011 &Co Consult delivered qualitative research projects for Ferens Art Gallery and Arts Council England. 19 members of the public took part in three focus groups, which were held in Hull and Leeds.
