House Lights 2010/11
17 August 2010
Many of you will be familiar with &Co Consult’s pioneering benchmarking project House Lights, which has been providing venues in the Yorkshire and Humber region with market intelligence since 2005. Fourteen venues are currently participating in the group and we’re delighted to run a project that gives them such “invaluable” audience intelligence.
If your venue is already involved in House Lights and would like to stay a part of the group, we’d like to invite you to sign up for next year. In 2010/11 for the first time we’ll be analysing and reporting every six months instead of just annually, giving you access to more frequent interpretation of your audience data. The first of these reports will be delivered in December this year and will show your results from April – September 2010.
A number of participants are already signed up, including Harrogate Theatre, Sheffield Theatres and Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House. We’re also pleased to be welcoming “Britain’s most complete Georgian playhouse” to the group. Georgian Theatre Royal is a 214 capacity venue based in Richmond, North Yorkshire and will be joining House Lights for the first time.
The first round of data extractions for next year will take place in October 2010. If you’d like to talk about renewing your participation, or aren’t currently involved but would like to find out more, get in touch with the team today. Email email@example.com or call 0113 234 6857.
House Lights takes place every financial year, analysing box office data from individual venues and comparing their results with others in the group. The reports are used to monitor market intelligence such as sales trends, audience profile and repeat ticket buyers. At the highest level, it even identifies the proportion of people who went to see one art form (such as a dance show) then also went to see another art form (such as a comedian).
