Rebekah is Yorkshire born and bred, and has moved to Calderdale from Harrogate, where she worked as a Commercial Property Solicitor. Prior to working in the legal profession for nine years Rebekah worked for Harrogate Theatre and Harrogate International Festival whilst she was studying. Her career change to working in the Arts has been long planned, and she is half way through a part-time Masters degree in ‘Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship’ at the University of Leeds.

Rebekah’s split role at Square Chapel encompasses recruiting, training and organising the centre’s teams of around 130 volunteers, and working with the local business community to develop awareness of Square Chapel and its work, create business partnerships, develop the Friends scheme, and of course, raise funds. Rebekah joins Square Chapel at an exciting time as the centre works towards building a £5million extension, which will include a second auditorium, new cafe bar and box office, increased dressing rooms and office space and greatly improved accessibility.
