Arts Award training – cost saving opportunity

&Co is looking to enhance its ongoing work placement programme by adopting the Arts Awards Gold scheme to support young people in building experience and qualifications to help them to eventually move into the arts and cultural sector.
The Arts Award supports young people who want to deepen their engagement with the arts, build creative and leadership skills, and to achieve a national qualification.
To adopt the scheme, &Co would become an Arts Award Centre and would have two intenal Arts Award Advisers, who would need to undergo training.
&Co would like to open out the opportunity for other organisations interested in becoming an Arts Award Centre, to save money on training their internal advisers by sharing the cost of an inhouse training session delivered by an Arts Award Consultant with &Co, and other &Co members.
If you would like to formalise your organisation's work placement programme and are interested in finding out more, please contact Sophie Thornberry, Marketing Manager at Sophie@andco.uk.com or on 0113 234 6857, and you can find out more about the programme at the Arts Award website.
