Development Officer, Theatre Royal Wakefield
c. £20,500 full time
The last 3 years has seen a significant growth in our production and participation activities, but in common with many other arts organisations we are reviewing our business model to ensure that we remain sustainable at a time of economic uncertainty. With the support of the Arts Council we are establishing a new development department and are looking for an enthusiastic Development Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate may have some fund-raising experience, or strong admin/PA skills. Although this is a hands-on fund-raising role, the successful candidate will be supported and receive training in any areas in which s/he is less experienced. S/he will have excellent written, presentational and interpersonal skills to form and nurture relationships with funders and donors.
