This workshop is the culmination of the Arts Nation North pilot programme and will introduce you to two new toolkits designed to support arts and cultural organisations wishing to engage with two of the key Arts Audiences: Insight (AAI) segments:
Event Content
This is an opportunity to find out about the two new Arts Council England funded toolkits in detail. Interactive sessions will provide opportunities to apply the research and learning to your own organisation, plus you’ll be able to pick up your own complimentary copy of the updated publication Arts Audiences: Insight. This event will be delivered by Alison O’Hara, Chief Executive, Audiences North East and Alison Edbury, Chief Executive, &Co.
Background
The toolkits are the result of an Arts Nation North collaborative project delivered by the three northern audience development agencies: All About Audiences, &Co and Audiences North East (ANE).
This pilot programme had two interconnecting objectives:
1) Development of toolkits for Dinner and a Show and Family and Community Focused audience segments, to enable effective targeting of these two segments within the Arts Nation project.
2) Design and delivery of pilot engagement projects with arts organisations across the North of England. These explored a variety of approaches to engaging the two segments across different artforms and areas, and laid the groundwork for raising awareness of Arts Nation amongst the cultural sector.
Who Should Attend
This workshop will be useful for Communications, Marketing, Audience Development and Front of House staff.
