Benchmarking
Benchmarking means tracking your performance over time and/or against similar organisations. You can see if you are improving and put your facts and figures into context.
We can help you collect the data to benchmark, for example by doing a survey, or we can work with data you already have, such as box office information or organisational data.
At the moment, &Co Consult is involved in recruiting participating organisations for its performing arts organisation benchmarking project:
House Lights is our successful theatre benchmarking group, which is currently in its fifth year. The group, of 12 participating theatre venues, works to develop a clear understanding of their current and potential audiences.
For more information, see our House Lights brochure (above, right) or contact contact our Research Consultant, Susan Ingham, at susan@andco.uk.com.
Claire Murray, Marketing and Sales Director at Sheffield Theatres, explains the benefits of &Co Benchmarking:
"For Sheffield Theatres, the House Lights project represents everything that’s good about collaborative working. The venues who are part of the project all operate in the same region and are subject to similar challenges in terms of funding and audiences.
